This is a small site for a book and an email list. Here's exactly what gets collected and why. Plain language, not legal advice.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for the worksheet or build updates. Nothing else is required.
- Basic email stats from our newsletter provider, such as whether an email was delivered, opened, or a link was clicked.
- Aggregate visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics: things like page views, which pages are popular, referring sites, and general country and device type. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't use local storage, and doesn't fingerprint or track you across sites. We see totals, not individuals.
- Standard server logs kept by our web host (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested), used for security and to keep the site running.
This site has no advertising trackers and sets no cookies of its own. We don't sell data.
How we use it
- To send you the Code Pinch-Point Worksheet and occasional updates about the build and the book.
- To see which emails and pages are useful, so we can send fewer, better emails and fix what isn't working.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your email address.
Who handles it for us
- beehiiv runs our email list and sends the newsletter. When you sign up, you do it on beehiiv's page, under beehiiv's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages) and provides the visit counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes you.
- To have your email deleted entirely, or to ask what we hold about you, write to [email protected] and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Kids
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. If the change is significant (for example, we start selling products), we'll mention it in the next email.
